Pick-Up and Drop-Off Instructions
Parking Lot Procedures
We have a designated morning student drop off zone. This drop off zone will be in effect from 7:30-8:05 a.m. and will be clearly identified by orange cones on the curb. We ask that everyone drive as far as you can in the drop off zone, and once you are stopped, have your children exit on the curbside of your vehicle.
Waiting to drop your child off directly at the front entrance door will simply not work in order to get everyone in the building in a timely and safe manner.
Please do not drive ahead of others that are waiting in line. Drivers will not be permitted to cut through the parking lot to get to the front of the line. This will cause a safety and traffic flow problem for everyone involved.
If you are walking your child into the building, we ask that you park in a designated parking spot. You are encouraged to carpool and arrive to school early.
Students are allowed to enter the gymnasium beginning at 7:30 a.m. and will be dismissed to their classrooms at 7:50 a.m.
When picking up your children after school do not leave your car unattended along the curb. If you need to park and leave your car, please use a parking space. Students are only allowed to enter an occupied vehicle once it is along the curb area in the parking lot. It is not permissible for students to get in a parked vehicle waiting in line on SW Applewood Street.
