Destination Book Fair: Read Around the World!
November 6-12, 2009 During the week of fall conferences the Scholastic Book Fair will be displayed in our library. Instead of checking out books during this week the students will have an opportunity to shop at the Book Fair. Parents are encouraged to stop in and shop while they are at school for conferences. Books make great gifts! All the profits from the Book Fair will be used to purchase library materials and support our author visit. Reading Relays: Spring 2010 This is an opportunity for fifth grade students to read books and show off their knowledge by competing against other students in the district. This year Reading Relays will be held at Ashland Ridge Elementary on Saturday, March 27, 2010. Crocker will be sending three teams to this district competition. Good luck 5th Graders! |

Author Visit with Brod Bagert, April 8, 2010 Well known children's poet, Brod Bagert, will spend a full day in April with the students at Crocker Elementary. Mr. Bagert will give presentations to all grade levels. There will be an opportunity to order autographed copies of Mr. Bagert's books prior to his visit. http://brodbagert.com/index.html |

Used Book Sale - May 2010 The Crocker Media Center will be hosting a Used Book Sale in May. Students will be invited to bring in books from home that they no longer want. For every five books that a student donates they will receive one free book at the sale. Paperback books will be sold for 50 cents and hardcovers for $1. |
